James R. Butler, Chairman

Mr. Butler retired as President of Alza International in 2001. Mr. Butler joined Alza Corporation, the world’s premier drug delivery company in 1994 as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Alza, Mr. Butler was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Glaxo, Inc. Mr. Butler presided over the launch and market development of Zantac, which became the world’s best selling prescription medication. Mr. Butler serves on the Board of Pharmacy at the University of Florida, his alma mater. Mr. Butler resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

John Q. Adams, Sr.

Mr. Adams has enjoyed a 45 year career in the pharmaceutical industry and has built four successful companies; Baylor Laboratories, Allerderm, Inc., Adams Laboratories and most recently Adams Respiratory Therapeutics (ARXT), where he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In addition, Mr. Adams developed Rough Creek Lodge and Conference Center located near Dallas, TX. Mr. Adams is a graduate of Heidelberg College and serves as a director of several professional and philanthropic organizations. Mr. Adams resides in Colleyville, Texas.

Robert A. Casper, Ph.D., Senior Vice President & CTO

Dr. Casper, a chemical and biomedical engineer, is a co-inventor of the Acu-Breathe™ technology. He currently serves as Sr. Vice President & CTO at Respirics. Prior to Respirics, Dr. Casper was a co-founder of Innovative Devices, a company specializing in pharmaceutical aerosol devices and systems for measuring drug absorption from the intestine. Before co-founding Innovative Devices, Dr. Casper held Section Head and Associate Director positions at Glaxo, Inc. and Southern Research Institute. Dr. Casper is an inventor on twenty six patents relating to medical devices, controlled drug delivery and orthpaedic biomechanics. He holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from MIT, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. Dr. Casper lives in Sanford, NC.

Mark P Celeste, President & CEO

Mark P. Celeste, President & CEO, has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 27 years. As COO and co-founded of Amerigen Pharmaceuticals Mr. Celeste lead the company from inception through private equity funding and on to become one of only two prescription drug product manufacturers in China to be approved by the United States FDA. Prior to his role at Amerigen, Mr. Celeste founded companies providing contract validation and calibration services to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities throughout the USA (Pharmaceutical Solutions Inc., and Pharmaceutical Calibrations Inc.), and also held several positions within Glaxo including international assignments in the UK, China, and Saudi Arabia. He holds a BS in Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

R. Brent Dixon

Mr. Dixon founded First Horizon Pharmaceuticals (FRXT) in July 1992 and served as the company President until 2001. He has over 30 years of operational and strategic market development experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining First Horizon, Mr. Dixon was President of Dixon Associates, a healthcare consulting company, and held various positions at Center Laboratories, a division of MerckAG, Roberts Pharmaceuticals and Adams Laboratories. He attended St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of Mississippi. Mr. Dixon lives in Dunwoody, GA.

Lary C. Snodgrass

Lary C. Snodgrass, has been employed by Pickens, Snodgrass, Koch & Company, P.C., a public accounting firm, since 1973, serving as managing partner and president from 1980 to 1995 and as a retired partner since 2004. Between 1970 and 1973 Mr. Snodgrass was a senior accountant for Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Snodgrass received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1970. Mr. Snodgrass has served as a director of several banks and currently serves as a director of Craftmade International (CRFT), since 1998.
